Fouche & Co Recruitment (“we”, “us”) is a recruitment agency at Unit F, 8 Village Road, Kloof, Durban, 3610. We are the “responsible party” for personal information processed through this website and our recruitment services. What we collect

• Job seekers: your name and contact details, CV, employment and education history, salary expectations, and, where a role requires it and with your consent, reference, credit and criminal check information.
• Employers: business contact details, role briefs and hiring requirements.
• Website visitors: usage information collected through cookies and analytics tools (see “Cookies & analytics” below).

Why we collect it

• To register you on our candidate database and consider you for current and future roles.
• To match, screen and put candidates forward for positions, always with your prior say-so.
• To manage client relationships, placements and our legal obligations.
• To improve our website and measure our advertising.

Who we share it with

Candidate information is shared with prospective employers only after we’ve spoken to you and you’ve agreed to be put forward. Verification information (references, credit and criminal checks) is processed through accredited screening partners, only where the role requires it. We never sell personal information.

How long we keep it

Candidate records stay on our database so we can match you to future roles. If you’d like your details removed, ask at any time and we will delete them, subject to any records we’re legally required to keep.

Security

Personal information is stored on access-controlled systems and shared only with the people who need it to do their work. Where third-party processors are used, we require appropriate safeguards under POPIA.

Your rights

• Access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you.
• Withdraw consent or object to processing at any time.
• Complain to the Information Regulator (South Africa): POPIAComplaints@inforegulator.org.za.
